Our trees leave for green projects all over Europe (and sometimes beyond). Naturally, this takes into account climatic conditions and phytosanitary restrictions if necessary. We deliver with our own trucks up to about 300 km, for further destinations we cooperate with local transporters. We can also provide exceptional transport ourselves with our own low-loaders. For further destinations, we work together with experienced partners.
As an individual, you are most welcome. Almost all the trees we sell are selected personally in our nursery. We think it is important that you can experience the atmosphere that a particular tree creates, and this is best done live. We are also happy to show you our way of working and what precedes preparing a mature tree for its journey to its final destination. For the purchase, planting and aftercare, we like to work with professionals because they have the necessary knowledge and expertise to make the planting a success.
Yes, we prefer to spend most of our time in the nursery among our trees and not online. Therefore, our website does not show our current stock. All photos are taken in the nursery, but it may be that certain pieces have been sold in the meantime and that we have found new masterpieces. The nursery has more than 40,000 trees and these are constantly evolving. Let the impressions and trees on our website be a starting point in your search for your ideal tree. Send us an e-mail or visit us, tell us what you are looking for and we will gladly provide you with all the information about the specimens that qualify.
Yes and no. Growing trees takes time. Many specimens in our nursery are 30 to 50 years old. ‘A custom-made tree’ is obviously not possible, but thanks to our extensive range, we can create customised shapes or compositions. This may involve a special pruning shape, organic clouds or groups of plants that together form a beautiful whole. Every year, there are projects where we prepare trees either instantaneously or over a period of several years in our nursery. Do you have an awesome idea and wonder if it is realisable? We’ll be happy to look into it together!
No, but we do have an inspiration book. Just about all the trees in our nursery are individually labelled and documented. Since this is mainly about individual specimens, a stock list would be endless. However, we do like to inspire you with our book (digital or in print) to soak up the atmosphere. Send us a description or some reference photos and our team will be ready to provide you with a customised quote, extensively documented with measurements and photos.
No, we deliberately choose to focus on tree nursery. This means that we carefully grow, prepare and deliver our trees. We like to leave the planting to a garden contractor. Since we deliver throughout Europe (and sometimes beyond), we find it very important to always work with (local) garden contractors because they know the environment, soil and location best and can also guarantee aftercare. Most of our trees cannot be placed manually. We organise delivery up to the project, but afterwards we rely on professionals who provide unloading, planting and aftercare.
No, we do not give a guarantee. Sometimes we even like to turn this question around. Having lovingly maintained and prepared our trees at the nursery for an average of 30-40 years, we like to be assured that they will be cared for with the same attention at their new location. Since several factors are beyond our control, including correct watering, after the plants leave the nursery, it is impossible for us to give any guarantees. If your plant does struggle and your garden contractor does not know what to do, they are always welcome to contact us and we will be happy to see if we can assist you with advice.
Very simple and without a doubt: good drainage, sufficient oxygen in the soil and watering on a regular basis via drip irrigation. Make sure that on the day of planting, drip irrigation can be installed immediately. To keep a larger-sized tree transportable, its roots are kept more compact in our nursery. As a result, at least for the first 2-3 years it still needs help to get enough water. We think drip irrigation is the best system for our trees. If you would like more info on this, we would be happy to help.
